Today's green smoothie of the day is called "U-PICK ME UP". It has tons of antioxidants with it's spinach, green tea, blueberries, and raspberries. It tastes so refreshing and delicious, too. Make sure you stay updated with all things green smoothie-related with Simple Green Smoothies.

October 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge: Day 1

Today is the beginning of another 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge from Simple Green Smoothies. If you've never tried one of these, then you are missing out! I first discovered green smoothies on Pinterest, and my sister-in-law first introduced me to the challenge from Simple Green Smoothies. I did most of the July challenge and loved discovering great new green smoothie recipes through it. I am a picky eater. I admit that I don't eat as many veggies as I should. A few of my children are picky eaters as well, but they LOVE the smoothies. These drinks are such a great way to get a few good servings of fruits and veggies that normally you may not eat. I always have friends ask how they taste. Well they're great! The fruit masks the veggie taste so they really are sweet and delicious. If you think you'd like to be a part of the challenge, just click this link to sign up. Each week they send out emails with 5 new recipes and a shopping list of items to buy for that week. Also, make sure you check out the Simple Green Smoothies Facebook page for lots of tips and updates. Want to know what I drank today? Pictured below is "Cherry on Top" packed with spinach, water, banana, blueberries, and cherries. Yummy!!
